Rudolf is Professor of Labor Economics at the Department of Economics at the University of Linz and Fellow at Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS), The Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London and the Institute for the Future of Labor (IZA) in Bonn. Caroline is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Vienna, where she also holds an Elise Richter senior postdoctoral fellowship, and researcher at the Vienna Institute of Demography (Austrian Academy of Sciences). Her main research interests include fertility and the reconciliation of work and family, in particular parents' time use and couples' employment patterns.

Lara is a postdoc at the Department of Sociology, University of Vienna. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Bocconi University, Italy (2012). From 2012 to 2014 she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium and from 2017 to 2022 at the Institute of Economic Sciences, Serbia. Her research covers topics related to human capital, labour economics and family economics.

She holds a PhD in Sociology from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and has previously earned an MSc degree in Statistics and Applied Economics from the ENSAI Graduate School, France. Her doctoral research examines gender inequalities in mental health over the life course, focusing particularly on the consequences of parenthood transitions.

In 2016, she obtained a PhD in Demography jointly granted by Sapienza University of Rome and the Catholic University of Leuven.
