Rudolf is Professor of Labor Economics at the Department of Economics at the University of Linz and Fellow at Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS), The Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London and the Institute for the Future of Labor (IZA) in Bonn. His research focuses on labour economics and the evaluation of economic and social policy.

Caroline is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Vienna, where she also holds an Elise Richter senior postdoctoral fellowship, and researcher at the Vienna Institute of Demography (Austrian Academy of Sciences). Her main research interests include fertility and the reconciliation of work and family, in particular parents' time use and couples' employment patterns.

Lara is a postdoc at the Department of Sociology, University of Vienna. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Bocconi University, Italy (2012). From 2012 to 2014 she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium and from 2017 to 2022 at the Institute of Economic Sciences, Serbia. Her research covers topics related to human capital, labour economics and family economics.

Christina is a prae doc researcher at the Department of Sociology, University of Vienna. She obtained a MA in Sociology at the University of Vienna and previously held positions at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and Statistics Austria. Her research interests lie at the intersection of poverty, employment and family research, with a strong focus on gender inequality.

Alessandra is postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Messina. In 2016, she obtained a PhD in Demography jointly granted by Sapienza University of Rome and the Catholic University of Leuven. She works on the association between partners’ socio-economic resources and reproductive behaviour across European contexts and on the links between demographic behaviour and the reproduction of educational inequalities.
